A Charm was born from a shared belief in signs, spirit, and the quiet magic woven through the natural world. Created in collaboration with Callie Coles, this necklace is more than adornment — it is a talisman.
The word charm holds layered meaning. A charm is a flock of goldfinch — delicate messengers often associated with joy, resilience, and hope. It is also an object worn close to the body, carrying intention, memory, and personal magic.
For Callie, the goldfinch became deeply personal. In the days after losing her heart horse, Warrior, a charm of goldfinch appeared in his field — a moment that felt impossible to ignore. It became a quiet symbol during a year of grief and healing, a reminder that love never truly disappears, it simply changes form.
Etched beside the word sits a feather, symbolising spirit, guidance, and the unseen presence that walks beside us when we need it most.
Callie and Kate first connected through Instagram, drawn together by a shared love of creativity and a slower, more intentional way of living. Both mothers of young children, they have built their creative worlds in the small, sacred spaces between family life.
When they discovered that a flock of goldfinch is called a charm — and Callie shared the story of the birds appearing after Warrior’s passing — the meaning felt undeniable.
From that moment, The Charm Necklace was born.

Each piece is created using the traditional lost wax casting process. Kate first sculpts the design entirely by hand in wax, capturing every detail before it is cast into solid gold or silver. This centuries-old technique allows each piece to retain the character and subtle individuality of something truly handmade.
